Delphi is the hardware manufacturer for the Delphi XM SKYFi satellite radio products. Satellite broadcast service is provided by XM Radio. At this time, XM Radio is only licensed to provide service in the U.S. (all states except Alaska and Hawaii), Canada, their territories and adjacent waters. How do I add the Industrial Average indices (DOW, AMEX, NASDAQ, and S&P) symbols to my Delphi XM SKYFi2 or SKYFi3?
Delphi is the hardware manufacturer for the Delphi XM SKYFi2 and SKYFi3 satellite radio products. XM Radio provides the satellite broadcast service/content. Reporting is currently limited to individual stocks that are listed on the exchanges. This is due to contractual issues between XM and the various "Industrial Average" indices (DOW, AMEX, NASDAQ, and S&P). What is included in the "Info Extras" feature on the Delphi XM SKYFi2?
The "Info Extras" feature includes scrolling sports scores for the following: MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Golf, NCAA Basketball, and NCAA Football.
What does the "TuneSelect" feature do?
The "TuneSelect" feature alerts a listener when his/her favorite song or artist is playing on another channel. For more information or instructions, please look at page 18 of your SKYFi2 User Guide or page 46 of your SKYFi3 User Guide

Can the Delphi XM SKYFi, SKYFi2 or SKYFi3 be used on an airplane?
The FCC and FAA have not certified the SKYFi, SKYFi2 or SKYFi3 for use in any aircraft (neither portable nor permanent installation). Therefore, Delphi cannot support this type of application or installation.

What is the warranty on my Delphi XM SKYFi, SKYFi2 or SKYFi3?
Delphi offers a one-year warranty on the SKYFi, SKYFi2, SKYFi3 and all accessories kits. To obtain warranty service, please contact the Delphi Warranty Center at 1.877.GO.DELPHI (1.877.463.3574). Please see the back of your User Guide for further information regarding your Delphi warranty.
What is the SKYFi3?
As the latest successor in the best-selling SKYFi® family, the SKYFi3 is 65% smaller, yet maintains nearly every benefit of the previous generation product. SKYFi3 offers optimum balance of compact size, screen readability and portability outside the vehicle. SKYFi3 has the largest 9 line display in its class and low-profile car dock that mounts vertically or horizontally, the SKYFi3 sets a new standard for plug-and-play systems.
What is the difference between the Delphi XM SKYFi2 and SKYFi3?
The SKYFi3 is 65% smaller and lighter than the SKYFi2. The SKYFi2 and SKYFi3 have most of the same functions. Although the SKYFi3 has the ability to store and manage up to 10 hours of XM programming through non-removable internal memory, as well as an unlimited number of MP3 files through optional and removable micro SD cards.
Does Delphi XM SKYFi3 work with any other Delphi accessories?
The SKYFi3 has a separate Home Kit (SA10227-11P1) which includes a remote and also works with the Delphi XM Signal Repeater (SA10116-11B1), the FM Direct Adaptor (SA10112-11P1), and the 50' Antenna Extension Cable (SA10006-11B1). The existing Delphi home antenna and audio cables work with the SKYFi3. The current MyFi (SA10113-11P1) and RoadyXT (SA10175-11P1) AC & DC power adaptors also work with this unit.
Does the Delphi XM SKYFi3 have a battery, so it can be used like the Delphi XM MyFi?
Yes, the SKYFi3 can easily be removed from the car and used as a portable music player. With the included earphones and an internal 8 hour rechargeable battery, SKYFi3 can playback any previously stored XM or MP3s.
My vehicle does not have a cassette player, what do I do?
If you have the SKYFi, you will need to either purchase a Delphi FM Modulator (SA10003-11B1) or a Delphi Universal Audio Adaptor (SA10081-11P1). The Delphi FM Modulator requires professional installation. If you have the SKYFi2, it already has a built in FM Transmitter. Please see page 14 of your SKYFi2 User Guide for instructions. If you have a SKYFi3, it already has a built in FM Transmitter along with the SureConnect. Please see page 41 of your SKYFi3 User Guide for instructions.
My SKYFi3 locks up when I'm checking media or listening to music, how do I unlock my SKYFi3?
To unlock your SKYFi3 begin my removing your SKYFi3 from either home or car cradle. Press the volume plus button on the right-side of the SKYFi3. Now simultaneously press and hold the volume plus and mode buttons for 3 seconds and release. The SKYFi3 will power down and power back up. Watch the lower left-hand corner of the display to see what firmware version appears. The version will be: R1.04, R1.10, R1.17, R1.18, or R1.19. If the SKYFi3 is not version R1.19 you will have to update the firmware. If firmware version R1.19 appears, you will have to complete a hard reset in order for the unit to fully accept the new firmware.

MyFi SKYFi3 locks up and I have version R1.19 firmware, how do I complete a hard reset?
Important! Completing a hard reset on your SKYFi3 will erase all of the memory on your receiver.
To begin the hard reset, take your SKYFi3 out of its home or car cradle. Look at the right-hand side of the SKYFi3 to make sure the unit is unlocked. Press the volume plus button on the right-side of the SKYFi3. Now simultaneously press and hold the volume plus and mode buttons for 3 seconds and release. The SKYFi3 will power down and power back up. When "Checking Media" displays push in the navigation (↑) arrow and then the (↓) arrow. A warning screen will display. Press the navigation (↑) arrow one time. Another warning screen will display. Press the navigation (↑) arrow again. The display will read "initializing" and shut down. The SKYFi3 will power back up and go into "My Music" mode.

My SKYFi3 won't power up, how do I get the power to turn back on? (In-Vehicle Scenario)
To restore power to your SKYFi3 follow these steps. Take the SKYFi3 out of the car cradle. Next unplug the power supply from the back of the car cradle and plug the car power adapter directly into the bottom of the SKYFi3. Now turn your car ignition to get accessory power to your SKYFi3. Press the volume plus button on the right-side of the SKYFi3. Now simultaneously press and hold the volume plus and mode buttons for 3 seconds and release. Wait a couple seconds and the SKYFi3 will power up. Watch the lower left-hand corner of the display to see what firmware version appears.
If firmware version R1.18 appears you will want to update your SKYFi'3 firmware. If firmware version R1.19 appears, you will have to complete a hard reset in order for the unit to fully accept the new firmware.

How do I update the firmware on my SKYFi3?
Follow these steps to update the firmware for your SKYFi3. First make sure the SKYFi3 battery has 3 to 4 bars of battery strength (see upper left corner of display). Plug the provided USB cable into the bottom of the SKYFi3 and to the USB port on your computer. When your computer recognizes the SKYFi3 visit the website: http://fwupdt.xmradio.com to start the firmware update. Once at the website click on "XM Firmware Client R2.26" shown in red text. A popup window will appear asking you to save or run the program, select "Run". A second popup window will appear asking you to run or cancel, select "Run". An XM screen will popup allowing you to search for compatible radios. When the SKYFi3 appears click start. You will see a popup screen asking you to acknowledge the firmware update. Click on "I agree" and then continue. The firmware update will start. When the firmware update is complete your computer will prompt you to disconnect your SKYFi3 from the USB cable. After disconnecting your SKYFi3 from the USB cable your SKYFi3 unit will begin updating itself with the new firmware. When the update is complete your SKYFi3 will shut itself down and power back up. If desired, you can view the firmware release notes on your computer.

I'm receiving static when I use the built-in FM Transmitter on my SKYFi2 or SKYFi3, what are my other options?
You may purchase the FM Direct Adaptor (SA10112-11P1). This will connect your SKYFi2 directly to your vehicles FM Antenna, providing a direct connection. We do recommend that you have the FM Direct Adaptor professionally installed.
Will my Delphi XM SKYFi2 work in the Delphi XM SKYFi Home and Vehicle Kits?
Yes, the SKYFi2 will work in the SKYFi Home Kit (SA10004-11X1), SKYFi Vehicle Kit (SA10002-11X1),Delphi Audio System (SA10001-11B1), Delphi CD Audio System (SA10034-11B1), Delphi Audio System w/ XT Adaptor (SA10201-11B1), and Delphi CD Audio System w/ XT Adaptor (SA10205-11B1).

No, the SKYFi3 will not work in the SKYFi Home Kit (SA1004-11x1), SKYFi Vehicle Kit (SA1002-11x1), SKYFi2 Home Kit (SA10103-11XP1), SKYFi2 Vehicle Kit (SA10102-11p1), Delphi Audio System (SA10001-11B1), Delphi CD Audio System (SA10034-11B1), Delphi Audio System w/ XT Adaptor (SA10201-11B1), or Delphi CD Audio System w/XT Adaptor (SA10205-11B1).
I need to get my Delphi XM SKYFi, SKYFi2 or SKYFi3 repaired, where can I take it?
At this time, Delphi does not currently have an authorized repair center. If you are within your one-year warranty period, please contact the Delphi Warranty Center at 1.877.GO.DELPHI (1.877.463.3574).
Does the antenna work if placed inside the vehicle?
It is recommended to install the antenna on the roof of the vehicle for optimal performance. If this is not an option, placing the antenna on the dashboard as close to the windshield as possible will generally still get you a sufficient signal strength to hear XM radio. It is possible to experience signal disruption with the antenna located inside the vehicle.
