General Information

Where can I get a new user manual?

Downloadable PDF versions of all manuals pertaining to the Delphi XM MyFi can be found directly on ShopDelphi. Here is the link to the page http://shopdelphi.com/consumers/satradio/myfi/support/guides/.

How does the Delphi XM MyFi built-in antenna work?

MyFi contains a built-in antenna that works best when your MyFi receiver is upright. For best results, a belt clip is provided to hold the MyFi in the proper position; laying the MyFi down flat may weaken reception. A wearable antenna is included for improved signal reception. MyFi's antenna should have an unobstructed view of the XM satellites in the southern sky. In large cities, XM also has a network of ground repeaters to help increase the signal coverage. The signal may weaken inside a building, however, the 5-hour memory mode could be used. Satellite reception depends on the ability of the antenna to receive a signal.

My vehicle does not have a cassette player, what do I do?

The MyFi already has a built in FM Transmitter. Please see page 23 of your MyFi User Guide for instructions.

I'm receiving static when I use the built-in FM Transmitter on my Delphi XM Roady2 or RoadyXT, what are my other options?

You may purchase the FM Direct Adaptor (SA10112-11P1). This will connect your MyFi directly to your vehicles FM Antenna, providing a direct connection. We do recommend that you have the FM Direct Adaptor professionally installed.

How do I delete a single song I recorded on my Delphi XM MyFi?

The only memory in the Delphi MyFi in which you can delete individual entries is "TuneSelect", the others are simply rolling memories that write until full, then roll over and write over the oldest entry.

Does the antenna work if placed inside the vehicle?

It is recommended to install the antenna on the roof of the vehicle for optimal performance. If this is not an option, placing the antenna on the dashboard as close to the windshield as possible will generally still get you a sufficient signal strength to hear XM radio. It is possible to experience signal disruption with the antenna located inside the vehicle.

How do I know whether my Delphi XM MyFi battery or receiver is causing my problem?

If your MyFi will operate off of the DC and AC Power Adaptors, but not off of the battery itself, it may be your battery. If your unit will not operate off of the DC and AC Power Adaptors, it may be your receiver.
